After this program is finished, I go back to Korea. This semester was my first and last semester. When I arrive at my hometown, I am free because my university begins vacation. However, I am going to continue studying English, so I already registered an English exam, TOEIC. Also, I will study my major subject because I forgot many things. 

  I have to get a job two years later, but I didn't decide it specifically. I wanna work in foreign company, and live in another country. Therefore, I will prepare for working as an intern in international company. 

  

  I was surprised because time flew so fast. It was the best experience I've ever had. I can't forget you guys, and thank you for giving me good memories. Thank you guys.

Living in Canada

  When I first came here in Calgary, I realized that Calgary is in stark contrast to Korea. Of course, the most different thing is language. While I speak Korean, people in Canada speak English; it was my challenge to learn English, and speak fluently. Language acqusition is the most important thing that I have to do here. The first time when I took the C-train, I was surprised that there were many races in there, therefore I knew that Canada is a multicultural society. Korea, however, is a single-race nation, therefore many Koreans look at foreigners interesting. It will be one of the biggest different things between Korea and Canada. Even thogh there are several different points between Korea and Canada, it is important to respect and accept different cultures and societies.

Quality for Successful Life

  Patience is the most important quality that people must have in order to be successful in life. When you meet obstacles, you may think that you fail. At this moment, you need to be patient. Don't miss a beat to keep trying for your success. If you have enough patience, you will not give up easily. For example, a lot of inventors, who made stuffs to help our life, would have failed many times as they invented many things. However, they didn't give up, and kept going to achieve their goals. Therefore, I think Patience is the most important quality to be successful in life.    

Success

 If I define success, it is happiness. Many people can think that money is necessary for success. However, I think if you are happy to achieve your goal, then money will flow naturally. There are many people who are successful. In my opinion, they started their work because they were happy to achieve their goals. They could succeed in their works and make much money as a result. Therefore I define success as happiness.

 According to TED talk by Elizabeth Gilbert, she continued writing although she felt her failure and she could get success. I agree with her. I have to keep going even if I know that I am fail. Then I can get success and be happy. I believe a sentence, "Your efforts will never betray you!" I hope you succeed in your works! 

Developing Vocabulary Knowledge

 Hello! I will talk about my developing vocabulary knowledge. But, I don't have special way to expand my vocabulary knowledge. I think my way is almost similar to Koreans'. When I read some articles or book, there are some words that I don't know. First, I check the words and then find them by using a dictionary app. I usually use a dictionary app in my cellphone which is English to English. There are not only definitions but synonyms so it is easy to increase my vocabulary knowledge. After finding them, I note down them on my small notebook. Then, I see them when I am in the C-train. Another way is watchig movies. Then I can know how to use the words so I think it is also good way to expand my vocabulary knowledge.

 I also want to know your ways how to increase your vocabulary! Give me some other informations!

Hello everyone!

  I'm Bokyung. I know that it is hard for you to pronounce my name. I am sorry. I am from South Korea. I like listening to music in my spare time. I love Bruno Mars' songs, especially 'Just the way you are'. It makes me happy and calm down. Also, I like watching movies. Do you know 'Maze Runners'? It was the best movie I saw last year. I want to watch the second part of this movie. I am a university student in Korea. I studied finance in my university but I took all lectures in English. It was the rule of my major. When I graduate my university, I need my English score instead of graduation test. Therefore English is very important part of my major and future. This is the reason why I am in this program. I've been in Calgary for 3 weeks and I want to make the best memory in here. Please help me make good memoris in this program. I am really happy to meet you! Thank you:)
